It’s not just super fishy, with awesome stories about different places and ways to fish, but it’s also packed with heart. I really enjoy listening to two great hosts who open up about their time on the water and how they’re leading their families.
The faith and parenthood angle resonates a ton. As a dad of three, I want my kids to thrive. I want them to love the outdoors. But more than anything, I want to show up as my best self for them.
Thanks, guys, for the content and your unique perspective. It means a lot!

I Love Dads on The Fly
These guys get it!
I found them a couple years ago right before the birth of our twins. I feel like I belong to a great community of listeners with their great fly fishing content. Great job guys, keep it up and keep bringing more warm water fishing content my way!

Great podcast
I am new to fly fishing and a follower of Jesus. Those are two of my favorite things. I love that I can listen to a podcast that combines them both!
The only down side is that I’ve reached out to the guys with questions a few times via the website…..but I’ve never heard back.

Great for all anglers and dads!
Love this show!! I always look forward to long trips in the car and catching up with the dads. Great information on a variety of fly fishing topics, being an ‘outdoor’ dad and loving the Lord. Keep up the good work fellas!!

Great Podcast
Found this podcast about a year ago and have enjoyed it. It’s great to hear about their fly fishing experiences as well as sharing their faith in Jesus. I enjoy the guest that have been on the show and it gives deeper dove into the lives of the guest. Look forward to several more podcasts in the future.

I really enjoy the discussions and advice as I have constantly asked for more and more advice to keep my kids interested in fishing. I really look forward to them becoming my FlyFishing partners very soon.

Highly recommend this podcast!! I vacation in their part of the world, so I love hearing about what’s going on in that part of North Carolina. And they interview some of the most amazing guests.

Best Fly Fishing Podcasts for Dads
I’m a lifelong fly angler, dad of two boys, and person of faith. This is hands down the best podcast on those three subjects. It has encouraged me to be a better dad, focus more on my faith, and get out there and fish more, especially with my family. I’ve fly fished since I was 12, and I am learning so much about the fly fishing community, from new products, to new places to fish, and deeper ways to think about how fly fishing fits into the rest of life. I am always telling people about the podcast and look forward to each new episode. Thanks Caleb and Joshua!

My Go to Fly Fishing Podcast
I found Caleb and Josh’s podcast a year ago when I decided I wanted to learn how to fly fish. The stands out amongst other fishing podcasts, for a few reasons: they managed to be very entertaining and informative, but also have overall clean content. I’m able to listen to this in the truck with my son and never have to worry about language or content, that he can’t hear. Well, this is geared towards dad’s. It’s certainly appropriate for anyone and everyone in every stage of life. Can’t recommend enough and look forward to the new episodes every week.

Interview with Eric Canfield
Great interview/discussion. Glad you met him and shared this with us. This is important to me as I know a burnt out pastor.
